MacScott Bond Aberdeen Facility provides an Operational Base dedicated to the manufacture of Hydraulic Power Units and Flushing Rigs designed and built to the highest standard and specification. These along with Fluid Analysis Equipment, Oil Conditioning Units, Nitrogen Intensifiers, Transfer Pumps and Accumulator Banks form part of a wide range of quality rental equipment.
The Division is well equipped to conduct Accumulator Repair and Recertification in accordance with British Standard BS 1968: 2002, which is a requirement under the Pressure Systems Safety Regulation. We also have the capability to carry out refurbishment and repair of Hydraulic Equipment, and with cleanliness of a system of prime importance, pipework and umbilical flushing can also be undertaken along with on-site Fluid Analysis to Industry Standards.
Accumulator Recertification
As an authorised Accumulator Recertification Centre with Personnel specially trained by leading Manufacturers, we can offer, from our Premises in Alten's, Aberdeen, a full repair and recertification service in accordance with BS EN 1968: 2002, P.E.D. and P.S.S.R.
This is carried out on an approved Rig by a Volumetric Expansion Test which is the most preferred method according to the British Standard. In addition to this we undertake Painting to Commercial and Offshore specifications, Nitrogen Recharge and Flushing to Industry Standards as well as arranging Third Party Inspections for the Customers.
